I worked in the lifting and rigging industry for 20 years, and was with three companies during this time spread between New Zealand and Australia. I started as a 16 year-old working as a storeman, then progressed into sales, procurement & management. I also had a period of erecting and dismantling tower cranes, which was pretty cool working at height.
MORE ABOUT KERRY:
I would put myself in the category of a rugby tragic! I’m currently club captain of a local junior rugby club. We have 150 junior players ranging from 3yrs to 12 yrs of age spread over 12 teams. Further to this, I also coach one of the teams, then after the morning of junior rugby, I referee senior and colts rugby.
My wife & I have three young children – who all play rugby of course! We love to travel, and our favourite destination is Bali.
